There are just two wineries that produce estate bottled wine from the six hectare Marenca cru, Luigi Pira and Gaja. Pira has the largest holdings of this cru with 2.2 total hectares of 30-year old vines.
Aromatics are fresh with wild berries, vanilla, chocolate and dried herbs. The palate is rich, textured, and powerful with pleasant tannins and balanced acidity.
