Ashes & Diamonds is a winery in Napa Valley, very dedicated to creating wines that embody  a sense of place. Old-school and new-school flavors intersect here through low intervention wine making and transparency of terrior. Steve Matthiasson of Matthiasson Wines, is one of two winemakers for the label. 

For this wine, they used grapes from Los Carneros, Oak Knoll District and Yountville. This resulted in a balanced wine with layered aromatics. Providing cocoa on the nose and palate, red cherry, oak, pepper and minerals.
