Craven Wines Syrah 'Firs Vineyard'

Husband and wife team; Mick and Jeanine Craven have been making wine together in Stellenbosch since 2011.They have a very low intervention approach  and work with local growers for their fruit. They also work with grapes not as commonly produced in Stellenbosch... Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Cinsault. They both studied winemaking at university and actually met working a harvest in Sonoma! 

Aromas and flavors of mulberry and blueberry fruit and hints of green olive with a well balanced medium-body palate.
