Craven Wines Chardonnay

Husband and wife team; Mick and Jeanine Craven have been making wine together in Stellenbosch since 2011.They have a very low intervention approach  and work with local growers for their fruit. They also work with grapes not as commonly produced in Stellenbosch... Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Cinsault. They both studied winemaking at university and actually met working a harvest in Sonoma! 

This Chardonnay brings a brininess and layered texture to your palate enveloping it in the flavors of apple juice, asian pear, saline and gentle squeeze of lime. This wine is a perfect balance between savory and fruit.
