This new project from Raj Parr in collaboration with Abe Schoener and the Galleano family, highlights the viticulture heritage of Los Angeles. The city was the center of the California wine industry before prohibition producing wines from the Palomino, Mission, Garnacha Tintorera and Zinfandel grapes. A few of these original LA vineyards have endured and through rehabilitation of the mostly 100+ year old vines, wine is made. These wines are made with very low-intervention in a small cellar in Boyle Heights.

Revolution Red is made from vines planted in 1912, never sprayed or treated in anyway. Aromatics of tart red and purple fruit with a hint of sweet pickles. The palate is smooth and quenching in the way that you want to just keep drinking more. You truly will be drinking a piece of American wine history.
