A rarity of cultural significance to the rugged northern coast of Spain.The Handarrabi Beltza grape is indigenous to this region, and grows here high on the slopes above Getaria. Twenty days of skin contact before resting six months on the lees. As is the style of this region, the wine is made to preserve some carbon from fermentation - giving it a light effervescence.
Lower in alcohol, with young tannins and notes of cranberry and redcurrant. A. good looking and good tasting bottle!
