Scribe Pinot Noir
WINE TYPE: Red
VARIETAL: Pinot Noir
COUNTRY: United States
Scribe winery in Sonoma produces vibrant, terroir driven wines. The winery was founded in 2007 on a property that pioneered pre-prohibition Sonoma Valley winemaking and is managed by fourth-generation California farmers and brothers, Andrew and Adam Mariani. Andrew and Adam believe that the best wines are a result of a healthy relationship between man and nature, and that a vineyard managed in harmony with the greater ecosystem results in more site-specific wines that represent a sense of time and place.
This Pinot has it all; juiciness, earthiness, and elegant tannins. Aromatics of raspberry, strawberries, blueberries and baking spices. The palate mimics the same fruits with the addition of mushroom, cocoa, licorice, and a touch of barnyard. Acidity is in check with low tannin structure.
