 Beto Fernandez started Leonico in 2021 after being a sommelier for fifteen years.  He came to Itata to work/learn with Roberto Henriquez before opening Leonico.  His overall mission is to highlight, honor and protect the ancient grapes of Chile while simultaneously assisting to find them a more global audience.  All of the wines which he produces are extremely low intervention.  

This wine is super yummy, light, and crushable.  A typical pais style but with the palate more similar to Cru gamay or Pinot Noir.
