Northern Spain

With a winemaking history dating back to 1,000 B.C., tradition clearly runs deep when it comes to wine culture in Spain. Recognized as one of the top three "old world" wine producing countries, our tasting room is focused on a few northern regions this month. We have dialed into Pais Vasco in Basque country, producing the refreshing and uncomplicated wines known called "Txakoli"; the northwest region of Galicia known for salty fresh Albarino; and the mountainous Bierzo with its array of perfumed and spicy reds built around the Mencia grape. As modern Spain is actually seeing a bit of a wine renaissance, we hope you will find time to come in and explore the depth coming from this slice of the country.

Private Tastings: Coming Soon

Our in-house tastings are a great way to explore and experience our shop. While you can walk in and try a featured flight at any time, a scheduled tasting books a session with one of our in-house team members and offers a guided experience for you and your group. Whether you would like to learn more about a specific region or just relax with your friends, the tastings at 2A offer a relaxed, customized, approachable wine experience in the comforts of our wine room.
