Alberto Nanclares and Silvia Prieto mainly produce old vine Albarino from the village of Cambados. To offset the high acidity in the Albarino grape, unlike most winemakers in the Rias Baixas, Alberto and Silvia actually age there wines, often up to a year or more on their lees before going to bottle.  The wine is alive, delicious and could easily shift your mindset on the potential for Albarino. Aromatics and the plate showcase lime zest, wet cement, honeysuckle and super ripe pears. The body is luscious as it dances perfectly with its acidity.
